Doing our part to heep our community safe.
Conditions of Entry
The safety and well-being of our guests, members, staff, and the greater community are of the utmost importance. We continue to follow the advice and regulations of the NSW Government.
From 24 December 2021, the following conditions of entry apply to the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club and our venues (Kempsey Macleay Sports & Bowling Club, Tabatinga, Vault Cafe).
NSW restrictions
Indoor hospitality venues have a density limit of 1 person per 2 square metres, and no density limits for outdoors.
COVID-19 Safe Check-in will be required at hospitality venues.
Drinking can be indoors or outdoors, and you may be
seated or standing. Singing and dancing is allowed.
Face masks
All people over the age of 12 must wear a mask in the following settings:
- indoor areas of all premises except for a place of residence
- front-of-house hospitality staff
Masks are strongly encouraged in settings where you can’t physically distance.

Exceptions to wearing masks
You can remove your face mask if you’re:
- eating or drinking
- communicating with another person who is deaf or hard of hearing
- asked to remove their mask for identity purposes
- in an emergency situation
- providing goods and services and the person needs to remove their mask to provide those goods or services properly
You need to wear your face mask again as soon as the reason for taking it off has ended.
Children aged 2 to 12 years don’t have to wear a mask but are encouraged to wear one where practicable.
Children under 2 years must not wear masks.
If you can’t wear a face mask because of a disability, illness, or mental or physical health condition, you must carry either:
- a medical certificate or letter signed by a registered health practitioner — such as a doctor — or a registered NDIS provider; or
- a statutory declaration

Service NSW COVID Safe check-in
The Service NSW COVID Safe check-in is required before entering our premises. You will be asked to show proof of check-in upon arrival.
If you don’t have a smartphone, you can apply for COVID-19 check-in card at service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/create-covid-19-check-card, or complete the paper version form.
Vaccination evidence
You no longer need to show evidence of your vaccination status, unless you are attending a music festival with more than 1000 people.
