We recently had the opportunity to visit Kempsey District Hospital and see firsthand the impact of our $15,000 donation to the United Hospital Auxiliaries — including the arrival of a brand-new hospital bed that the funds helped to purchase.
Seeing this equipment in place really brought home just how important community support is. This new bed will play a direct role in improving patient comfort, care, and recovery, and it’s incredibly rewarding to know our contribution is already making a difference.
We want to acknowledge the amazing nurses, doctors, and every member of the Kempsey Hospital team. The care, professionalism, and compassion they show our community every day does not go unnoticed. They truly do an outstanding job, often behind the scenes, and our town is so lucky to have them.
A huge thank you also goes to the United Hospital Auxiliaries. The exceptional work they do to raise funds and advocate for our local hospital is inspiring. Through their dedication and tireless efforts, vital equipment like this becomes a reality for our region.
