Every year, Deaf Camp brings together Deaf and hearing-impaired students aged 10–18 from across NSW public schools, giving them a space to connect, learn, and grow. This remarkable program has been running for over 30 years, and our club is proud to be a part of this important community initiative.
For many students, opportunities to meet others who share similar experiences can be limited. Deaf Camp changes that. It provides a safe and welcoming environment where young people can engage with peers, build lasting friendships, and explore their identity as Deaf individuals. Through activities, workshops, and social experiences, students gain confidence, discover new skills, and celebrate Deaf culture and Auslan in a way that is fun, empowering, and meaningful.
We love being part of a program that has such a profound impact on young lives. By supporting Deaf Camp, we help ensure that every student has the chance to feel included, supported, and celebrated, while forming connections that can last a lifetime.
