We had the pleasure of visiting the team at Kempsey PCYC and experiencing their brand new commercial cooker in action. It was a great reminder of the incredible work being achieved through Kempsey PCYC community programs, which are helping to create brighter futures for young people in our region.
The Kempsey PCYC community programs are designed to support youth in meaningful ways. From providing safe spaces and youth drop-in sessions, to mentorship, fitness, and leadership opportunities, the organisation is giving local kids the tools they need to grow, learn, and succeed. These initiatives are not just activities—they are life-changing programs that strengthen confidence, resilience, and connection within our community.
What stood out most during our visit was the dedication of the Kempsey PCYC team. Their passion for supporting young people and families is evident in everything they do, and it’s clear that their commitment is making a lasting impact across the Macleay Valley.
