Young Cricket Star in the Making!
The Kempsey Macleay RSL Club are passionate in encouraging young people to pursue their dreams in the sport they love.
In partnership with the Macleay Argus the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club sponsor the sportsperson of the month with a $100 voucher. This sponsorship aims to recognised achievements within the local community giving them a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Ava Ryan was awarded the Macleay Sportsperson in January, Ava is an avid cricket athlete representing NSW Country at the under-19 National Championships in Brisbane late last year.
While Ava is an outstanding cricket player her passion and enthusiasm for the sport is evident in the way she carries herself on and off the pitch.
Her passion, determination and skills will see Ava accomplish great things in the future.
