2024 Kay Clarke Shield
Last Saturday (4th May) Macleay Valley Rangers took on Kempsey Saints in their annual match in honor of Kay Clarke, to win the 2024 Kay Clarke Shield!
The match kicked off at 3 pm on a wet field that didn’t work to either side’s advantage. Both premier sides played a tough game, going end-to-end throughout the match, with Rangers kicking it up a notch leading the game 6-4 at the final whistle.
Jordan Clarke grandson of Kay Clarke fittingly scored a goal to help bring home the shield for the 5th year in a row!
Joe Kable had an outstanding game and put in the relentless efforts needed to bring home the victory, Joe was awarded Man of the Match for an outstanding performance! Congrats!
