The Kempsey United Hospital Auxiliary 2024 Bowls Gala Day helping raise funds for Kempsey District Hospital
The United Hospital Auxiliary (UHA) of Kempsey will be holding its annual Bowls Gala Day at The Kempsey Heights on the 22nd of June to help raise funds for the Kempsey District Hospital.
The UHA is a not-for-profit corporation with 167 branches in NSW and over 3,700 dedicated volunteers helping raise funds which are used to purchase much-needed equipment and items for their local health services. We are lucky enough to have passionate volunteers like Maxine Walker and the Kempsey UHA committee assisting our local health services, starting with the hospital.
Recently we caught up with Maxine Kempsey UHA President, who spoke passionately about how the Bowls Day would help raise much-needed funds to purchase equipment for palliative care services. This year the Board of Directors has donated raffle vouchers to the great cause, the club wishes UHA much success and hopes the 2024 bowls days exceeds last year’s amazing efforts at $8k!
