Sportsperson of the Month – Matilda Swimming Champion
The Kempsey Macleay RSL Club is passionate about encouraging young people to pursue their dreams in the sport they love.
In partnership with the Macleay Argus the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club sponsors the sportsperson of the month with a $100 voucher. This sponsorship aims to recognise achievements within the local community giving them a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Matilda is breaking records at all stages, including the Macleay PSSA and Lower North Coast in multiple events. Heading into the NSW Country Swimming Championships, Matilda kept the momentum and claimed first prize in the finals for breaststroke, freestyle, 50 m butterfly and 100m freestyle – What an outcome!!
We are looking forward to watching Matilda excel in swimming, her hard work and dedication will see her achieve amazing goals in the future.
