Hundreds of local families attending a local childcare centre will benefit from more efficient and stronger communications thanks to a $2,000 donation from the Kempsey-Macleay RSL Club.
Kempsey Children’s Services, which caters for 150 local families, will use the funding to purchase two iPads to upgrade the centre’s programming and management system.
Centre Director, Robyn Edwards, thanked the RSL and said the money will greatly assist in the centre becoming fully digital, allowing families to communicate and manage daily tasks with much more efficiency.
The centre received the funding as part of the RSL’s involvement in the ClubGRANTS Program.
Approximately 500 clubs across NSW voluntarily allocate funds to the ClubGRANTS scheme to support their communities.
